Top 10 Lies of Mainstream Christianity
We are each charged with the responsibility of verifying the accuracy of our beliefs. Do you know why you believe what you believe? Can you prove it with scripture?
Mainstream religion has led many away from a life of truth and scripturally accurate doctrine by promoting convoluted ideas, agendas, and traditions of men. They claim to promote truth, but then teach the opposite.
This has resulted in confusion or simply blind following of doctrine that is not understood. Many raised in mainstream christianity have departed from the faith because they could not reconcile its hypocrisy and illogical beliefs. Thus a generation is lost. Ezekiel 34 warns ministers about this practice.
1. The Sabbath is now Sun Day .
And on the seventh day YHWH ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. (Genesis 2:2)
And YHWH blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which YHWH created and made. (Genesis 2:3)
The Sabbath was created and sanctified BEFORE there were Jews or Gentiles.
Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. (Exodus 31:16)
2. The “church” replaced Israel.
One law shall be to him that is home born, and unto the stranger that sojourns among you. (Exodus 12:49)
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. (Ezekiel 37:26)
My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people. (Ezekiel 37:27)
And the heathen shall know that I YHWH do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore. (Ezekiel 37:28)
Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off. (Isaiah 56:5)
Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YHWH, to serve him, and to love the name of YHWH, to be his servants, every one that keeps the Sabbath from polluting it, and take hold of my covenant; (Isaiah 56:6)
Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. (Isaiah 56:7)
3. When the Bible says "Children of Israel"...it means the Jews.
And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. (Revelation 7:4)
Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:5)
Of the tribe of Asher were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Naphtali were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasseh were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:6)
Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:7)
Of the tribe of Zebulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. (Revelation 7:8)
If you are not part of Israel...you have no chance of being in this group!
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Yahshua Messiah. (Galatians 3:28)
And if ye be Messiah's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. (Galatians 3:29)
4. The Law was nailed to the cross.
Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. (Romans 7:12)
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; (Colossians 2:14)
The law is not against us...the penalty for breaking it was against us.
What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. (Romans 7:7)
5. “God” is three, i.e. the illogical, unexplainable Trinity.
Hear, O Israel: YHWH Elohinu, YHWH echad. (Deuteronomy 6:4)
6. “God” is a name (proper noun). A Jewish Messiah born in ancient Israel who read and wrote Hebrew would have a Hellenized name of “Jesus”. The Restored Name
It is no more acceptable to call YHWH "God", or Yahshua "Jesus" than it is to call George Bush "Jorge Arbol" or Billy Graham "Mohammed El Ali."
7. Friday to Sunday is 3 days and 3 nights. Scripture tells us to observe and commemorate Good Friday and Easter.
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Matthew 12:40)
Thus says YHWH, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. (Jeremiah 10:2)
8. Unbelievers burn in hell forever
And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, says YHWH of hosts. (Malachi 4:3)
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which sees the Son, and believes on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:40)
Only believers have everlasting life.
9. Believers go to heaven when they die.
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. (John 3:13)
The righteous shall inherit the earth and live on it forever (Psalm 37:29).
10. Christmas is the birthday of our Savior. It has been cleaned up and "Christianized".

Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)
If you can't accurately prove it with scripture...it is probably a tradition of men.
